To A Definite Maybe Part One

How did I get from "That's something to think about" to a definite maybe? It did not happen overnight, even though I consider myself a pretty fast talker . However, this process fell somewhere on a continuum between Great Oration and Asian Water Torture. I truly believe it fell somewhere in the middle or former end of this spectrum.

I knew the first question that would need to be addressed " How much is this going to cost"? Boy, was I in luck! The very best news about Mexico is the cost of living. I just need to be armed with the specifics (I am married to an salesman/engineer)to make sure I was prepared. I began to do a lot of research on the Internet, which was not so great at providing the in depth/specific answers I was trying to find.

Then one morning my daughter call to ask me to pick her up at Frisco Automotive where they were repairing here car...you may already see how her car seem to have a continuing thread in this saga. I arrived ahead of her as usual, but in fairness I do not have to get two kids ready to tag along.

A good friend at Frisco Automotive ask how thing were going and I began to tell him that we were thinking about moving to Mexico. He hopped right off his stool and got a book from a drawer. " This book was written by a past client of mine you might enjoy reading it", and what to my wondering eyes should appear a book on Ajijic Mexico. This was the exact place I was trying to research. "MEXICO'S Lake Chapala & Ajijic The Insider's Guide", by Teresa A. Kendrick had all the answers. She tells where to go for dry cleaning etc. Along with all these details the most important revelation was the list of other resources.
